OK Guys...here is the deal....
We all know that Netcom is an ISP....
Netcom is acting as a re-seller of the Ricochet wireless network.
What this means is that if a person wants a Netcom account AND wants wireless connectivity, they will have the option of getting one of our modems, they will then use the Ricochet network to access their Netcom account, they will go into the Netcom gateway, NOT the Metricom gateway. They pay Netcom, NOT Netcom and Merticom.

Why would someone want to do this?
Well...there is some software and features that Netcom offers to their customers that we currently do not. If someone wants the Netcom software and features and wants to be wireless, they now have an option where there was not one before.

ALSO
If a person travels a lot, they may want to access their account while they are outside Ricochet coverage. Metricom currently offers a dial in number, but it is a 408 number (long distance) Netcom has local dial in numbers all over the country....

Hope this helps clear up some of the obvious confusion!
