John:

I was hoping for more of a sell off after the inventory #'s came out. Looks to be short lived although if the NE weather turns warm and new inventory #'s show increase we can still retrace a little (my hope but the retrace may be from higher levels).

DVN just gave a TB sell @ $56 and I was hoping to see it go to $53 to $49 area before an earnings run. It needs to print $63 to negate the sell signal but we are having a two day cold snap in New England with nicer weather moving in tomorrow thru weekend. If APA is a guide we see $63 tomorrow (won't be the last time I've chased a stock)

I agree with cash flow. BR gave revised forecast (I think 75 cents this quarter) with decreasing production while DVN has been increasing production. DVN can have a pretty good quarter (pure guess $1.2 to $1.5 / share, last q was $1.02). Hard to determine / forecast earnings with the new wells and acquisiton. I guess compare this eps and growth with the techs and where do you want to be. Definitely worth an over weight through late February in this one.

Just some thoughts.

Best regards and Thanks for the information.

Tim
