Ken, not all gold co. managers are inept. Swanepoel of Harmony, or Thompson of Goldfields don't strike me as inept. nevertheless, their companies stock prices are suffering along with those of other miners. perhaps a case of the baby being thrown out with the bath water... i agree in any case with your view that the industry overall is doing all the wrong things - excepting the recent mergers which seem to be a step in the right direction. if ownership of gold production gets more concentrated , perhaps the supply issue will finally get tackled. hb .
