Late last week, AMD announced the sampling of their K6 and their stock went way up, as did Cyrix's. Intel's stock took a pounding, probably due to the perceived detrimental effects of the K6 announcement. So, the AMD and Cyrix crowd (from their respective SI forums) all came over to the Intel thread, circling like a flock of vultures, waiting for Intel to be pronounced dead so they could then feast on the dead meat. Unfortunately for them, Intel recovered yesterday big time! So, a few vultures remain (to remind us that Andy Grove is grossly underpaid! - thank you Albert Kovalyov!), but the new found euphoria for Intel has brought out more (and potential) Intel investors. Welcome, ya'll! Paul
