One also has to ask, is it really possible to bully anonymous posters on a board like this where all one has to do is put a person on ignore, or go read a book.

In real life, where one may meet the person in the workplace, or at school, or otherwise be unable to avoid them, it is one thing. But here?

And, as Marcus Aurelius, and many others since him, have said, ou aren't responsible for what other people say, but you ARE responsible for how you react to it. For example, I choose not to be offended by what jla says about me. His bitterness and resentment are his problem, not mine, and I choose not to make them mine. Deeds, actions, are something else. One cannot choose not to pay attention to being hit, for example, or to being always made the target in dodgeball with intent to injure, or to having one's lunch money stolen under the threat of being beaten up. That is true bullying. But words only hurt us if we choose to let them. So it's hard to see how it's possible for bullying to take place in an environment like this.

Or course, some people here misuse language freely, and have no concern for the meanings of words. But again, that's their weakness and their problem. I have no intent of making it mine.
