I don't need names KIS, I understand the entire process better than you, I am certain. First of all most manufacturing in the US is now OEM'd but designed here, and then designers are specialists so apple certainly hired some consultant to do the screen variance and knobs etc for the ipod. But that is meaningless. Its no different than saying Mercedes didn't really design and build the E300 because there are component parts.

In the end, apple is mostly a software company and always has been. The ipod is really more about itunes than the device, although the device is good, and prior to apple nobody could figure out how to navigate through a small screen.... now everybody including the lil monsta has a click wheel. Anyway what you are saying about who designed what for apple is common sense, we all know, and are not surprised.

How do you like that lil monsta ad? Think it "hits the mark"? LOL.
