Looks like Intel had enough with vaporware too.

To tell you the truth, I'm glad to see Timna go. I never understood what Intel had in mind when they came up with Timna. Maybe they thought that the very low prices PCs will be all the rage now, but after having seen all the $400 PC vendors go out of business, that may have made them change their plans.

At least that way I hope they can focus more resources to P4 including fab space. Intel was trying to juggle too many things all at once and they haven't been doing a good job as the 1.13GHz CPU fiasco proved. I truly hope they learned their lessons and they take their time and get P4 right. To me, the two recent events may signal that Intel is refocusing to a few good things rather than try and do (and blunder at times) everything at once.
