Ralph, why is $10,000.00 a share in 2005 so incredible? It might be only 'slightly' optimistic, but I'd consider it reasonable AND achievable.

Why?

Q is projected to grow earnings 50% a year at least through 2003. (And that's not including HDR and China) Tack on HDR, China, a poss very favorable HS/ASIC deal which will help Q keep their 90% ASIC market share, other 'surprises' IJ pulls out of his hat..and 50% eps growth through 2006 doesn't seem out of line.

Do the math. If you start with a base of $5.00 eps for 2000, you have Q looking at earning roughly $60.00 a share in 2006. When the market is looking toward 2006, it seems plausible the market will assign a forward looking PE of 150. That get's you to $9000.00 a share. And a market cap well in excess of 1 trillion dollars.

Certainly, predicting the future 6 years out is 'tricky' at best. But my money is on this sort of scenario panning out...
