ADV not a takeover Target, may be a SEC Target Over ripe and ready for a big fall ADV Advest. Stock price has risen two fold over it's low of $9.00 per share. All major banks and brokerages have by passed this company for a takeover target. The reason isAdvest has minimal assets and the majority of them are held in it's Bank and Trust Company. The only buying has been from Advest brokers and their customers. Watch this stock take a tumble by year-end. They are not a takeover target.
