Doren -

True. Versions of the Mac OS that preceded OS 9 also had viruses. In fact the first computer viruses were written for the Mac.

I read somehwere that there were fewer than one hundred Mac viruses, all of which affected only OS 9 or earlier. Macs are way behind on that, considering that there are more than one hundred thousand Windows viruses.
