That counts anyone who listened to anything on public radio ever ... not just their news programs. Did you know only 5% of NPR listeners are black? But 31% of their jazz program audience is black so the the black audience for its news programs is close to zero. The NPR news programming is aimed at high income liberal whites, single or married with no kids, more likely to work in government than in industry.
