I flew less than a week ago on US domestic route. The airport was practically empty for the few scheduled flights, but he plane was practically full. The flight attendants were not wearing masks, but were handing them out as people boarded. (the cheap kind of course).

Before takeoff the pilot gave a brief overview of the air circulation on the plane. Which according to him (and coinciding with your post) was equipped with hospital grade filters removing 99.9% of germs and also that the air was being recirculated through the filters every three minutes.

Maybe 95% of the passengers opted to wear a mask, but then comically when the snack cart came by about 50% of those removed their masks to eat and drink.
