The problem is that splitting Iraq into a Kurdish nation, a Sunni nation and a Shiite nation will create a lot of ripple effects -- the Kurds in Turkey and Iran would seek to break away, the Shiites in Iran would seek to join the new Shiite nation and this can cause problems with Saudi Arabia. In short, what is happening now could seem like a picnic.

Dumbya's dad knew better. That's why he refrained from getting involved in the kind of mess that Dumbya has gotten us into now.
