Actually the blue chip, dividend payers I bought
near the market lows in 4Q08 and 1Q09 are
providing both capital gains and dividends, atm.
The best of two investment philosophies.

The smaller cap techs that I bought were sold
after a nice run up, and that cash is awaiting
redeployment. We usually get 2 or 3 nice
investing opportunities each decade, during
which we buy the 'dip'. Techs are not quite the
cyclical play we enjoyed in the '90s, but the
cycle has not been repealed, yet. Once, we
could play the semi cycle every couple of years.
Now it's not so simple, but still possible... just
not at the magnitude or frequency that we like.
