Ken -
NT has had individual, group, and administrative access and security control over virtually every system resource since NT 3.5. There is both individual and share level control to handle different security needs. One can make whole directorys invisible to those who do not have appropriate access. Likewise, both drive mirroring and RAID are supported using standard disk drives.

I spent years using UNIX and there are still some features in the best UNIX variants that NT has not duplicated. But in general, NT has more and easier to use features for most things I want to do.
