>>The ZIP and JAZ are both considered standards in the music industry and no other removeable media has been included in such devices, than those made by IOMEGA<<
All of your last post made excuses for the above statement, but did nothing to correct what is a mis-statement of fact.
In fact, I can only think of 3 musical devices out of thousands that feature an Iomega product. One is the Esi-4000 Zip model. Two is the Roland VS-840 recorder w/ Zip (it uses compression-- how about your "music use beyond the bedroom" retort, now?), and three, an Akai multitrack recorder w/ a Jaz. And from what I hear, the horror stories are piling up on the Akai mailing list too.
The floppy drive is everywhere. So too are PC Cards. Roland does not want to be bothered by anymore product returns caused by removable hard drives, so it does not offer one. But, Roland endorses Syquest Syjet. The Sony Minidisc is included in far more models of equipment that all Iomega products put together.
So, as it turns out, the bottom line is not "SALES", but TRUTH. And you have not owned up to the truth. The truth is that Iomega is not included in hardly ANY musical equipment-- and you said it was, to the exclusion of any other media.
I don't know if you meant to mislead people here. But you might have thought you wouldn't get caught.
For shame.
