got news today.

shippig 64k memory now.

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Dec. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Integrated Silicon Solution,
Inc. (NASDAQ:ISSI) today introduced the IS61LV6464, a high-speed, low-power
64K x 64 synchronous SRAM designed for cache applications and networking
systems, such as switches and routers.
This latest synchronous SRAM from ISSI has a 5 ns clock access time, and
is compatible with the cache requirements of Intel, AMD and Cyrix high speed
CPUs. With 100 MHz operation, it is well suited for use with future
generations of even higher speed CPUs. A one-chip 512KB cache solution, the
IS61LV6464 features separate I/O power pins, which allow operation with either
3.3V busses or the 2.5V requirements of future generations of standard CPUs.
"IS61LV6464 provides almost a 50% savings in board space and power when
compared to 64K x 32 devices, and with its 100MHz speed it addresses the three
important requirements of today's PCs and notebooks" said Bob Cushman, ISSI
vice president of corporate marketing. "We are now shipping this new device
in volume to several customers, and it is under qualification by major PC
makers."
The 64K x 64 device is packaged in either a PQFP or TQFP package, each of
128 pins. This provides pins sufficient to incorporate twelve power-ground
pairs, significantly improving noise and ground bounce performance when
compared to 100 pin alternatives.
In addition, the IS61LV6464's 4-Mb size and wide organization make it
ideal for use in networking systems, particularly those with pipelined
architectures. Individual bytewrite controls along with five Chip Enable
inputs provide maximum flexibility and easy memory depth expansion in these
applications.

Pricing and Availability
Now in volume production, the IS61LV6464 is priced at $19.90 in quantities
of 1000, packaged in a JEDEC 128-pin TQFP 14mm x 20mm package. The
IS61SP6464, a slightly more economical 3.3V I/O version, is also available.
