Jay, I happen to agree with you, but there is a lot of debate about this. We have gone back and forth quite a bit on this thread in the past. Wish I could point you to the urls. The single biggest drawback to HFC (cable modems), is that it's a shared system. More users, less bandwidth. BTW, SBC says they are ahead of AT&T and will beat them. Don't ask me how, I'm just repeating what they said. As investors, it really doesn't matter (unless you are investing in cablecos and telcos). The equipment guys will be the winners as the battle rages on. I think it's going to get pretty intense soon as the other Bells pile on. MikeM(From Florida)
