Looks like we have another closet mythster here: >A 20% decline would have done the trick, and we can remember the market's October 1997 attempt to get a correction rolling, but rumor has it that the mythical crash prevention team stepped into the breach and prevented the market from doing what it needed to do. Again in October 1998 we suspect shadowy intervention by "them" kept a 20% decline from becoming more serious. < decisionpoint.com I've always found Swenlin's stuff to be quite logical.
