Bob Mayo.: Excellent posts on AAPL's advertising and ease of use 2 (humble) observations : IBM gained mainframe dominance with its "just think" campaign in the '70s after 1st being panned for not having a "sales message " ; Concerning the "ease of use post" , wonder why Gartner recently hired "competitor" Dataquest for a (negative) report on AAPL's future ? << "COST OF SUPPORTING THE PLATFORM In the fall of 1995 The Gartner Group, a leading information technology industry analyst, released an independent study that concluded that Macintosh was at least 25% cheaper to support than Windows.">> Seems if AAPL useage was less efficient Gartner could have just updated its report and saved some bucks !
