PLMBROK:

Have asked your question repeatedly on this and AIPN boards, but no response.
Only other CO I know, now recently NASDAQ listed HHLAF is Hurricane Hydrocarbons.
There is speculation on AIPN board that production agreement is about to be signed and that it will be favorable to AIPN because it has KAZ partners.

Will be watching to compare with HHLAF agreement which is as follows:

1. 3% royalty on 1st 500,000 tons[3.7MMbbls] of cumulative annual production.
2. 6% on the next 500,000.
3. 10% on the 3rd 500,000 tons.
4. 15% on the excess of 1.5 mil tons annually.

This applies to one field. The other field has a flat 9% rate.

The above seems considerably more favorable than what I perceive to be the case for CHAR where I am assuming the royalty is 50% since KAZ Oil owns 50%. On the other hand, Karakuduk appears to be at least twice the size of what HHLAF has.

Regards,

Anyer
