Ha. What a joke. As Mark Haines said to introduce the interview, "hold the pickles and the gamma rays" on my hamburger.

The CEO admitted from the start that his company does not make money.

They have one facilty - in Florida. Beef packers would have to ship meat to them from Texas, Nebraska, and Kansas to be irradiated.

Mark Haines noted their auditor questioned their ability to continue as an ongoing concern.

CEO admitted they have no patents on the process.

CEO conceded that the majors - IBP, ConAgra, Tyson, and GoldKist - would likely build their own irradiation facilities if they even adopted the practice.

CEO had big plans to build a lot of plants to serve the smaller packers - "a niche", but admitted they would have to raise a lot of money to do so. They have already spent $8 million building a facility that has been open for business for some time and generates almost no revenue.

Best short since CFON.
