John McCleery reports that, effective at the opening on Tuesday 11
2000,
trading will be reinstated in the securities of AVB. CVE has consented
to
the reinstatement of trading in the shares of AVB based on the
submission
of a satisfactory sponsorship acknowledgement form by Yorkton
Securities
Inc. Yorkton, subject to completion of satisfactory due diligence, has
agreed to act as sponsor AVB in accordance with the exchange's policies
regarding the change of the AVB's business from the resource sector to
the
wireless telecommunications field. An agreement to sponsor should not
be
construed as any assurance with respect to the merits of the
transaction or
the likelihood of completion. Completion of the change of the AVB's
business
is subject to CVE acceptance.

Todd Whorley has been appointed to the board of directors of AVB
effective
17 March 2000. Mr. Whorley has seventeen years of experience in the
field
of satellite communications, and is president and a founder of TRG
Systems
Ltd. Mr. Whorley, and his partner Richard Demarco, are the forty-nine
percent owners of Vancouver Teleport.
