Thanks for the IBM infoemation. There is a brokerage firm who suggested buy IBM at $50-60 level several ago, now says sell, and this firm believes IBM is a $120-130 stock. And the IBM's sell off soon siplled over to INTC, MSFT, DELL and CPQ.

Early this week, when the Merry Lynch guy upgraded IBM to $195 target, he said that was based on P/E expansion (from 11 to 15-16), not on better earning potential. Another word, IBM's recent movement was based on his lips. I don't IBM's growth rate can support any higher P/E.

I feel the whole market becomes more and more speculative, and even the conservative guy is trying to ignoring the fundamentals. This is not a good sign. Everybody know the market is way over extended, but no one wants to jump out off the wagon first; when finally everyone try to jump off at the same, you know what will happen.
