Well, I have the same concerns about cap and trade. It has a higher probability of failure than success. However, diversifying to renewables is an investment with a return. Cap and trade and renewables are two different issues, although related.

BTW, not sure what you call a greenie agenda. If it's tree hugging and worrying about the spotted lizard in New Mexico, I couldn't care less. If it's getting us off of oil so that our foreign policy and economy aren't held hostage to people who hate us, and creating a new innovation engine centered on renewable energy that can create more wealth in this country than the Internet did, then yes, call me a Greenie.
