IMO, they should be creating the breakthroughs instead of hoping for
someone else to do so. (I know they did something related to
video-coferencing but that appears to be a dud so far).

There is a need for extreme-power in workstations and servers
but these represent a tiny portion of the 100 million CPUS that
need to be sold.
