May 1996 !! Ah,,,,I remember it well.( the TAX man cometh ! ) Comparator was the talk of the town. ( IDID ) and they were just about ready to unvail their super whiz bang fingerprint ID gizmo down in Atlanta, GA. ( it was a far more advanved ID widget than the folks from Sunnyvalle ever thought of developing and they claimed it would run circles around Randy's machine ! IDID was trading over one million shares/ day somewhere in that ballpark figure and low and behold IDX spiked to $ 18.75 with no news merely the hyperbole of the folks from IDID. count de' monie Jim Scullion
