I know, I know! I'm fully aware of all these atrocities that were perpetrated by the U.S. at home and abroad... And as any French-educated fellow, I caught the anti-American syndrom as well... and I successfully nursed it.
The problem, as I said earlier on this thread, is that Europe doesn't seem to have learnt the lessons from WWII. The U.S.A. have evolved since 1945! Even a country supposedly immune to a strong racist, far-rightist ideology such as the United Kingdom is currently traumatized by an outrageous wave of racist bombings: Combat 18 has already blown up two cars --one in the Black/Jamaican suburb of London, the second in the Bengali/Indian one... And I could tell you more about France, Belgium, Germany,...
The U.S. are righfully preventing the rebirth of a fascistic Europe.
Hence, the NATO therapy must go on. |
