Now just strictly in the FWIW category, here's a link to a press release off AFCI's website. It was pointed out to me via a AFCI thread poster: afc.com Please read it carefully if using for investment purposes. As one can see, there is nothing conclusive in this release. But I thought it significant that they do have a relationship with SBC concerning their NGDLC product. BTW, I had forgotten that AFCI even offered remote pedestal cabinets. For those that don't know, to shorten the copper loop between the home and fiber, it sometimes takes a remote field cabinet. In it, you drop a NGDLC. Keep in mind, they may not manfacture them directly. I don't know and my 15 minutes will run out before I can check.
