..uniforms, gender segregation, a very strict academic regime, and a code of discipline bounded only by the bill of rights. My son's school (a charter school in NJ) has all this things already (except formal gender segregation, and right now he'd rather play with boys unless the girls like Harry Potter), and he's doing very well academically and socially. I don't think "freedom" from these things would help him learn, either.
