Mohan, Precurser of things to come? I tried to short SPY this afternoon and couldn't borrow the shares. What would it be like trying to get those if and when the whole market tanks. There's little doubt Mr. Individual Trader will be left out of the short mkt. I've been trying to go in and out of this short for the past month. I got whip sawed this morning and remain on the side lines. Do you have ideas on the divergence of the bond/ $/, and DOW? I just called my broker and they are going to be forced to buy some more SPY over the next couple of days cause they sold too many short positions. He said the demand for those shorts were extremely heavy this afternoon and there were none in the mkt place available. Tomorrow should be interesting. Any thoughts? Peter :o)
