Thanks, Aggie! SEV gave more info in their meetng this morning. They had two consultants assess the recoverable barrels from the deep subthrust reservoir. Can't believe the huge difference between estimates - it's like they were assessing different reservoirs! Following are the recoverable barrel estimates (do you know anything about these consultants?):
----------
DeGoyler & MacNaughton:
Low estimated case - 0.6 billion bbl
Maximum estimated case - 3.3 billion bbl
Expected estimated case - 1.8 billion bbl
----------

Davis & Namson Consulting Geologists:
Low estimated case - 9 billion bbl
Maximum estimated case - 22 billion bbl
Average estimated case - 16 billion bbl

---------------

Subthrust Characteristics cited:
- Large aerial extent (6 miles wide & 30 miles long)

- Thick reservoir quality objectives

- Favorable timing of trap formation & migration

- Dynamic Petroleum system: surface seeps and subsurface shows in wells.
