Peter- the NY wineries are only 90 min away from my OH residence. Same with a couple in PA. Both offer some good wine and some not impressive. There are wineries within 30 min of my SC res, 1 ea in NC & SC. I will visit the NC one next week. The SC one has not impressed me with product. They do offer many with the house lable and a humorous or satorical lable which can be fun. I'm embarrassed to say I was unaware of wineries in your state. A little thought and there should be some very good soil for grape growing. Climate may give an impressive growing season, although condensed. Careful what you offer or I may send a check...
