Lynn, Welcome to the thread. I have taken the liberty of pasting your post below in hopes of soliciting some help.

I have a few questions that may help get the ball rolling. I am a SCSI user but am not familiar with all the ins and outs.

What operating system are you using?

Have you tried using the Adaptec drive preparer software to format the drive?

Lynn's post below

Question for scsi users??? My second UW ibm drives FAT table shows 0% on analyzing and locks up there on 2nd reboot.

1st drive is C,D and is DORS ibm 2.1GB UW...
2nd drive, E,F just added is DCAS ibm 4.33GB UW...
Scsi card is 2940 UW. 2.1gb is lun # 0 and 4.3gb is lun #1...

Fdisk to partition EF either under 16 bit or 32 bit when loaded with
program never gets back to 1st drive and on analyzing goes to the 0% fat table messages and locks there........EF was partitioned as extended DOS partition with the EF as logical drives. Primary (boot) drive is C: and loading a program on E never completes the installation and needs to be rebooted with repeat of my above first sentence aboout 0% FAT table.

Thanks for your reply in advance!!!!!!

Lynn
