My background is software with some experience in storage. I
don't work for NTAP or EMC.

EMC is definitely "flogging the dog". I mean, here's a company
that is pushing this NAS entry as a highly available solution
with no single points of failure *yet* they benchmark with
RAID parity protection off, obviously introducing a point of
failure. It would seem to me that they don't want to publish
the benchmark with it on because the results are bad. How
else should one take it?

NTAP blows away their high-end Celerra and certainly this
"mid-range" product is much worse. Yet, EMC says this is
a "NTAP-killer"? Am I missing something?
