Now where did I read recently a theory that suggested the dive in gold was also tied to U.S. financial institutions wanting to pick it up on the cheap (JPM et. all) to make up for losses incurred elsewhere - ENE, WCOM, etc. through gold gains come the latter part of the year. The theory certainly falls in the same fodder as all the other market related conspiracy garble garble. Makes sense kinda....
