Since it is evident to most that zip is/will be standard all big box makers have got to cut their best deal with IOM soon if they haven't already.

It's possible that the very best deal could be to buy the company outright and get a competitive edge in the industry. Since CPQ has committed it's not likely that they'll reject zip later just because IOM has been bought out by some other box maker. The buyer gets a very healthy current revenue stream and a substantially larger one in the future. Clik! is nice iceing, it has enormous potential for year 2-7 IMO.

IOM might be attractive to a HD maker, also. There's got to be some synergies there.

There may also be a reason we haven't heard much about a new CEO. Maybe a new parent board is going to appoint one.

With most of the bad news out and some pretty heavy good news seeding the future the window of opportunity for a buyout of IOM isn't very big. If it's going to happen I think we'll find out pretty soon.

The real money question is where will zip be in 2-7 years vs. what can it be had for now. A bargain.
