Oops! The last two paragraphs were out of order. Should have read

Les: You keep forgetting one very important
issue--class action law suits against IOM that
are not insurable and may involve large
punitive damage awards. Perhaps you can
tell me why any responsible corporation
would want buy into the possibility of
enormous damages draining its bottom line
at a time when everyone is unsure of the
effect Sony's HiFi will have on the market.
Such a purchase would generate a plethora
of additional lawsuits filed by the
shareholders of the company that purchased
IOM with its uncertain legal future. Perhaps
you can educate me as to how and why
IOM will avoid the courtroom. In the
absence of such a credible scenario, your
takeover fantasies are just that--delusions.

Indeed, there have been a number of posts
on this board accusing Rocky Reid of
market manipulation, including a threat to
sue Rocky by Phillip Davis. That sort of
nonsense can really come back to haunt you,
since no one on this board can deny that
KE's actions were far more egregious than
anything Rocky Reid has posted.

To his horror, Phillip may end up seeing his
creed against Rocky's post used as an exhibit
for plaintiffs at trial. At the very least, Phillip
has destroyed his credibility as a potential
witness defending IOM conduct. So much
for winning the MF contest.
