engneer - Cost and Apologies

Eng - Forgive my skeptisium. Your addition to the group has increased to the IQ of the thread, and I thoughly enjoy your fresh input.

"Single carrier vs multicarrier is a decision driven by cost, IMO."

With many semis doing only DMT, would it be a correct assumption, in a very short time, cost becomes a moot point?

CAP or QAM is a standard? Might as well get 2 paper cups and some string. Even DWMT is more robust.

Since you brought up some good points on Bingham, I thought I'd dig into the vault and find a couple of references.

Mostly Conference Papers

I have more if anyone is interested.

If anyone here attends Comdex, I'm sure you'll find Krista Jacobsen
(former student of Dr. Cioffi) on duty with the Amati Display at the MOT booth. Tip: Make sure if you have any questions, to have them well thought out in advance.
