Doren,

Dell was first to announce before Apple even though Mac owners were complaining about battery problems since the MBP came out. Given how many laptops Apple sells versus Dell, Apple's recall, proportionately speaking, is much higher I would think. To be fair, Dell's also doing the right thing. I would guess that other's don't use Sony batteries but Toshiba's or other makes.
