The assured nomination of McCain is bullish for gold and probably has already begun to be factored into buying decisions.

Forget who you favor. Markets will tend to see a victory of either Obama or Clinton as more inflationary.

Markets will bet McCain will lose.

I am not saying Democrats will actually cause a weaker dollar. One could argue that moving out of Iraq would be dollar positive.

Should a new terror crisis arise McCain might not lose.

This post is about gold. It is not about who should win, nor about who will make the better president.

Just one more reason to be bullish on gold, until the election and having an opportunity to better judge what actions will actually be taken.
