I had to chuckle at Maryland's players saying over the past few weeks that they are the best team in the ACC. That said, I think Maryland will do better in the tourney than they have in recent years. This is a well-balanced and athletic team. There is a strong track record of college teams doing well immediately after the departure of a superstar, in this case Steve Francis. Players won't be sitting around watching him.

I sure hope Carolina doesn't go to the Big Dance. They certainly haven't earned it.
