Clinton makes the argument with Chris Wallace that all US military leaders at the time disagreed with him that bin Laden should be eliminated by military action. After hearing the former Pres' animated rant yesterday, an analyst made the comment that there have been instances in American history when a President took military action despite protests from the pentagon. The most ironic one was Harry Truman's decision to go into Korea, which reinforces my position that Truman, FDR & JFK would all be Republicans today. The current radically liberal Democrats react to that statement with the same over the top attitude Clinton displayed with Chris Wallace. Shakespeare would agree they all protest too much.
