Scanning the Western European media, the reaction to this chat can be summarized as follows:

Net effect on upcoming German elections minute. If anything, potentially negative for the extreme right wing AfD. Positive responses came nearly exclusively from already convinced AfD voters. Negative responses far outweighed positive ones.
