I'm glad to see a lot of the old crew still here. Here's why I'm about ready to buy back in. . . If this quarter's revenue is even with last quarter, IOM has sold a tremendous amount of drives--in other words, these is no other conclusion given the price drops and increasing percentage of shipments to OEMs. This transition had to happen--they went from selling Zips at very high margins to selling a lot more of them for razor thin margins in the span of about a year. I'll bet that OEM inclusion is around 65 or 70% this quarter. If you believe that IOM can get costs under control, then I think this company may be a nice turnaround play, provided they manage to do a couple of things: 1) actually get something out of all that R&D (the click drive looks a little pathetic at the moment, and 2) get quality issues, law suits, etc. behind them.

Second thought, I'm not buying in today. I'm not so sure they can bet anything out of R&D, given their track record and who knows if they can ever get costs under control. OK, maybe I'll jump back in tomorrow if things look better. . .
