I sure hope a little accounting knowledge is one of them. Not just how to skim over a financial statement and pick numbers out to support a biased agenda, but rather how to read a financial statement and understand what it actually says and reveals.

Investors would make better decisions if they listened more to their accountant than to their stock broker.
