Hi Salah:

Novell still has my support as much as ever.

I still believe that our patience is going to be well rewarded
but I haven't had the time to keep tabs on the portfolio as
much as before so I'm glad to have SI keeping track of the
developments for me.

Also glad to see you and Joe and the others are still keeping
the faith (all the complaining tells me that you all still believe, as
I do, that NOVL is still a great company that isn't meeting its
potential).

Since I believe there are a lot of Novell people watching this
thread, I believe all these complaints are being dissected and
discussed back at Orem.

Regarding AMD: it was really in the dumper and a lot of us started
slamming the company's management and pointing out the INTEL
INSIDE campaign and other stuff that has made INTC such a good
investment. Judging by AMD's new ad campaign and some of the
other changes, we think that AMD's management, much to its
credit, has been listening to the shareholders.

I think much more highly of Novell's people and its company structure
than I do of AMD (which I consider a bit gamy) so I'll be surprised if
Novell doesn't pay off at least as well as AMD.

Moral to the story: it took a lot of patience and aggravation to hold
on to AMD through its pitiful remaking. I don't feel nearly as
impatient and aggravated with Novell so, IMHO, that tells me that
I'm still comfortable with this investment which, by the way, is even
bigger than my AMD investment.
