Ted, I know that I had to ask you many, many times whether the government ought to help clean up the oil spill. Every time you responded with how hypocritical conservatives are, as if pointing that out is more important than actually cleaning up the mess.

No need to tell me that my question was too obvious to answer. You obviously think the clean up effort right now is sufficient, just like the AP.

Why are you trying to put words into my mouth? I never said anything of the sort.

Meanwhile, the damage to the Gulf Coast is becoming pretty severe.

Not yet but it probably will be.

Seems like you have a lot of understanding for how difficult the job is and what the limits of government intervention are. But only when a Democrat is in office.

I don't expect the gov't to plug an oil leak. I do expect the gov't to provide its citizens coverage whether their problems stem from a hurricane or an oil spill.

And maybe in the future, you can get your boys to back off of their fav ditty......Drill, baby, drill! Maybe now its clear that unbridled drilling can be dangerous to the heatlh of this country and its citizens. Do you think you can do that?
