Here is Forbes take on earnings: Shares of Qualcomm (nasdaq: QCOM - news - people ) rose slightly in after-hours trading Thursday after the wireless equipment maker reported fourth-quarter earnings a penny above analysts' estimates. The company reported earnings of 42 cents per share on revenue of $2.0 billion. Analysts polled by Thomson First Call predicted the company to report earnings of 41 cents per share on revenue of $1.97 billion. Qualcomm projected fiscal 2007 earnings in a range of $1.76 to $1.84 per share, compared with analysts' consensus estimate of $1.82 per share.
