james-- well, you have no argument from me about the majority of issues being down enough. however, we have yet to see the breakdown in the big caps that would indicate a real bottom, at least to me. if i see earnings improve dramatically, asia and others deal with the real problems they have, and a whole slew of other things happen then i will return to a bull. but, its just too soon to make that determination IMHO. the only thing i really know right now is that we are both going to be right. as you pointed out in a previous post, nothing goes straight up, or straight down<G>. good luck to all, trey
